Peach Gin Cocktails Made for Aussie Summer
Some spirits wait politely for winter. This one does not. Granddad Jack’s Peach Gin is built for hot, humid afternoons and long, loud sessions with mates. Here are three dead-easy cocktail recipes (Sip, Shake, Share) plus a dessert that should probably come with a warning label.

Share: “Peach, Please!” Jug Cocktail
This one’s made for mates. A jug that pours easy and disappears faster.
You’ll need- 200ml Peach Gin
- 600ml peach iced tea
- Fresh and/or tinned peach slices
- Ice (don’t be stingy)
- Fill your cocktail jug with ice.
- Add Peach Gin and peach iced tea.
- Drop in peach slices and stir for 15 to 20 seconds.
- Top with more ice if needed and serve.
Lime & Ginger Syrup (House-Made)
A little prep that upgrades everything. Warm ginger, bright lime, and the perfect wingman for peach.
You’ll need- 500g white sugar
- 500ml water
- 75g fresh ginger, sliced
- Zest of 2 limes (peeled, no pith)
- Add all ingredients to a saucepan.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Simmer for 15 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Cool completely, strain, and store in the fridge.
Storage: Keep refrigerated in a sealed bottle for up to 2 weeks.
Quick tip
If you want it punchier, grate a little ginger instead of slicing it. If you want it smoother, keep it sliced. Either way, it’s doing the job.
Bonus: Peach Gin Ice Cream Cups
Because sometimes “dessert” is just a cocktail wearing a sweet disguise. These are dangerously simple and outrageously good.
Peach Gin Ice Cream Cups (Serves 2)
You’ll need- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream (or peach ice cream if you want to go full peach)
- 60ml Peach Gin (30ml per serve)
- 1 peach, diced or sliced
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional, for extra gloss)
- Pinch of sea salt (sounds weird, tastes elite)
- Mint leaves (optional)
- Scoop ice cream into two chilled cups or tumblers.
- Top with fresh peach pieces.
- Drizzle over Peach Gin (30ml per cup). Add maple/honey if using.
- Finish with a tiny pinch of sea salt and mint if you’re feeling fancy.
Hot tip: For a thicker “sauce”, stir the gin and maple/honey together first, then drizzle.
