Christmas Pudding Liqueur Cocktails: Santa’s Sip Recipe

Discover our limited-edition Christmas Pudding Liqueur. From pouring it over ice cream to mixing the perfect Santa's Sip, here’s how to drink your dessert.

Christmas Pudding Liqueur: The Ultimate Festive Spirit

Christmas is a season of traditions. We hang the stockings, roast the turkey, and inevitably, someone gifts a fruitcake that nobody really knows what to do with. But this year, we’re championing a new tradition: drinking your dessert.

Our limited-release Christmas Pudding Liqueur has arrived, and it’s changing the way we think about the festive season’s most iconic sweet treat. We’ve taken the rich, spiced, fruity essence of a traditional pudding and bottled it. It’s nostalgia without the heaviness, celebration without the hours of baking, and quite frankly, one of the best things we’ve ever made for Christmas.

Whether you’re hunting for a unique gift, a show-stopping digestif, or just something to sip while wrapping presents at midnight, this liqueur is your new holiday essential.

Why You Need This Liqueur on Your Shelf

We all know the feeling of finishing a massive Christmas lunch. You’re full, happy, and possibly ready for a nap. Then comes the question: “Who wants pudding?”

Sometimes, you just don’t have room for a bowl of cake and custard. That’s where our Christmas Pudding Liqueur shines. It offers all those deep, complex flavours — raisins, sultanas, cinnamon, nutmeg and citrus peel — in a smooth, sippable format.

Real Ingredients, Real Flavour

We didn’t take shortcuts. This isn’t a sugary syrup with artificial flavouring. It’s crafted with real fruit and authentic spices, macerated and blended with premium spirits. The result is a liquid that tastes exactly like the real thing because it’s made from the real thing.

Versatility Is Key

While it’s incredible neat, this liqueur plays very well with others. Here are a few simple ways to enjoy it:

  • The Classic Pour: Simply pour it over a large block of ice. As the ice melts, it opens up the spices for a slow, warming sipper.
  • The Dessert Upgrade: Drizzle a generous shot over vanilla bean ice cream or a slice of warm gingerbread.
  • The Mixer: Believe it or not, it pairs surprisingly well with cola for a festive twist on a rum and coke.

And if you’re ready to go beyond the basics, we’ve put together three Christmas-ready cocktails (plus one very handy syrup) that turn your bottle into a full festive bar.

Feature Recipe: Santa’s Sip

If you want the ultimate quick-fix cocktail that practically screams “Christmas Eve”, look no further than Santa’s Sip. This drink is incredibly simple, relying on the liqueur to do the heavy lifting. It plays on the classic combination of pudding and custard, but turns it into a velvety, grown-up dessert in a rocks glass.

Ingredients

  • 45ml Christmas Pudding Liqueur
  • Dash of creamy vanilla custard
  • Ice (enough to fill a rocks glass)

Method

  1. Prep your glass: Grab a rocks glass (short tumbler).
  2. Build the drink: Add plenty of ice to the glass.
  3. Pour: Add 45ml of Christmas Pudding Liqueur over the ice.
  4. Top it off: Add a dash of custard on top. Stir it in for a creamy, integrated drink, or leave it lightly swirled for a marbled effect.
  5. Serve: Enjoy immediately.

Pro tip: Grate a little fresh nutmeg over the top for an aromatic finish.

Prancer’s Pudding Sour

This one is for the sour lovers. Prancer’s Pudding Sour takes the rich spice of the Christmas Pudding Liqueur, adds nutty almond and bright citrus, and finishes with a silky foam. It looks impressive, tastes even better, and is easier to make than it looks.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Christmas Pudding Liqueur
  • 20ml Almond Syrup (see recipe below, or substitute Amaretto)
  • 30ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15ml egg white (or aquafaba)
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • Ice

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker without ice.
  2. Dry shake hard for 10–15 seconds to build a nice foam.
  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake again for 10–15 seconds until chilled.
  4. Single strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass.
  5. Optional: add a final dash of bitters on the foam for a little aromatic flair.
