This isn't one of them. Gin-u-Wine is our winter wine gin. A gin we distilled from scratch, then softened with a wild-fermented Nero d'Avola from Witches Falls. Genuinely warming, a little boozy, and made for the second pour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt drinks like your favourite mulled winter night: stewed berry pie and sweet baking spice on the nose, a burst of stewed sweet berries and warm winter spice on the palate. Poured over ice with no mixer, it's practically a Negroni.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"gdj-scarcity\"\u003eLess than 300 bottles. One-off. When they're gone, that's it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gdj-section\"\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eA wine gin, genuinely\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGin on the botanicals, red wine at its heart. We distilled a gin with juniper, clove, orange, cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla. Then let it down with wine instead of water. What comes out is deep, spiced and warming: a gin with the soul of a mulled red.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis one started with Jimmy. Years ago, one of our own blended a staff release of wine and gin that was so good we never shut up about it. We could never make it again, because that wine was never made again. The memory wouldn't leave us alone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gdj-section\"\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe couldn't go another Winter without it. So, Luke set off on a mission to make a wine gin that would do it justice, and justice he did. We distilled a gin just for this release, then reduced it with a wild-fermented Nero d'Avola from our neighbours at Witches Falls, up on Tamborine Mountain.
