Jimmy Farrer, is one of our best Cocktail Mixologist's and All-Round Warehouse Legends. In honour of Jimmy & his dad, a Winemaker, we've created another world-first release.
The gin base of this release was distilled with Juniper,Cinnamon, Clove, Cardamom, Orange Peel & Vanilla and then carefully blended with a rare 2009 Nebbiolo to create something truly one of a kind.
"The name 2/22 is a tribute to the 2/22nd Australian Infantry Battalion otherwise known as 'Lark Force' who trained in the hills surrounding what later became, Traawool Valley Vineyard, where I grew up. My Dad was a winemaker for 23yrs and as a kid, I actually helped pick the grapes that went into this rare Nebbiolo, released back in 2009 and now over a decade later, it has become part of my own special generational creation." - Jimmy Farrer
Jimmy’s dad, John, gave up the last few bottles of his prized & perfectly aged 2009 Nebbiolo. It deserved extra special treatment in this release and in a cocktail that does it justice.
