Christmas is a time for celebration, and there's no denying that our Christmas release of Nanna's Christmas Pudding Liqueur is a great way to get everyone in a very merry mood.
This festive liqueur brings to life the fond memories of Christmas Day and the anticipation of the after-lunch dessert, Nanna's Christmas Pudding. After all, what's a Christmas get-together without some pud and a questionable, but appropriate, amount of custard?
This release brings together all of the flavours and aromas of the pudding and tastes just like the holidays. With an abundant but not overpowering botanical list of fruits & ingredients from Nanna's baking cupboard, this liqueur can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or poured into the custard (or pudding) for something a little boozier this festive season.
Nose: Fleshy citrus, candied fruit and baked sweet vanilla.
Palate: Zesty citrus peel, followed by the warming spice of cinnamon, candied fruit and a mouthcoating finish of vanilla.
Ingredients: Juniper, Strawberry Gum, Orris Root, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Orange, Honey, Candied Fruit, Sultanas, Brown Sugar, Orange Juice, Lemon Juice, Lemon Peel, Almond Essence, Dates, Cinnamon, Brandy Essence and Vanilla Bean.
Our production team used the base of our gin and vodka to balance the background notes and flavour perfectly. All ingredients were macerated for a few weeks to extract as much flavour and natural sugar as possible to replicate the taste and aroma of Christmas Pudding.
Signature cocktail: Nanna's Eggnog (each purchase includes a complimentary tasting card and cocktail recipe)
