In the aftermath of the 2022 Brisbane Flood, our neighbours, ‘Cuttings Wines’, faced a catastrophic loss - hundreds of thousands of wine bottles rendered unsaleable. From tragedy rose collaboration, and thus, this sophisticated caramel Amaro was born. Together, we re-distilled the wine, crafting this Italian-inspired Amaro. For centuries, Amaro has been cherished, not just as a liqueur but as a symbol of unity, love, and the indomitable spirit of hospitality. Often dubbed ‘Granddad’s Drink,’ Amaro embodies the essence of communal strength and resilience. In crafting this bitter, caramel liqueur, we pay homage to those values, reminding everyone that together, we can navigate and overcome any challenge that life throws at us.
